Needles are the easiest thing in a stash to duplicate by accident. A case that shows you what you own pays for itself surprisingly quickly.
What to look for
Straight needles want long protected slots or a full-length case. Circulars are easier to find when each cable has its own pocket. Double-pointed needles need their sets kept together so one stray needle does not disappear into another project.
If your collection mixes several types, visibility matters more than squeezing everything into the smallest possible case. The whole point is being able to tell what you already own before buying another 4mm needle.
