The Knitter’s Notions is for knitters who do not want to wade through hundreds of almost-identical products — and for gift buyers who would quite like to get it right.
What we do
We keep the ranges deliberately small and choose things for a reason: useful tools, project bags, storage, needles, books and gifts that solve a real knitting problem or are simply lovely to use.
How we choose
Recommendations are editorial. We look at what the item is for, how it differs from the other options on the page, whether the price makes sense for that job and whether it adds something genuinely useful to the shortlist.
When we personally use something, we say so. We do not pretend every product has been hands-on tested, and we do not invent ratings or reviews.
