Useful should mean usable.

We want The Knitter’s Notions to work for as many people as practical, on phones, tablets and larger screens.

What we aim for

We use semantic headings, descriptive image text, visible focus states, keyboard-accessible links and controls, readable contrast and layouts that adapt when text is enlarged or the screen gets smaller.

Ongoing checks

Accessibility is part of our launch and update QA rather than a one-off badge. Product pages, navigation and new reference tools should be checked as the site grows.

Third-party destinations

Affiliate links open retailer websites that we do not control. Their accessibility may differ from ours.
